DCB operates an online joint video conference room to improve the competitiveness of local companies and lead regional development by enhancing the efficiency of non-face-to-face work and promoting digitalization.

The online co-utilized video conference room is located on the third floor of the Busan Design Promotion Agency (up to 15 seats) and the third floor of the Beomil Clothing Manufacturing Support Center (up to 30 seats). You can use them for global forum events, various business steering committees, and video conferences of design companies and research institutes.

DCB supports video conference rooms and smart-work booths for free only for design companies, small and medium-sized venture companies, and textile fashion companies that need video conference rooms and smart-work booths. Through this, we hope to improve the efficiency of non-face-to-face work and improve the competitiveness of local SMEs.

The application can be applied by e-mail or wired in charge, and the application system on the website will be established in June.

Dr. Kang, Kyung-tae, president of Design Council Busan said, “Although non-face-to-face video conferences are becoming popular due to the COVID-19 crisis, small and medium-sized companies lack experience conducting video conferences. So we established a video conference room that will be co-utilized online to solve problems such as costs needed to build a conference room.”adding, “In the era of non-face-to-face, we will continue to provide the necessary support to small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.”
