DCB announced the 2022 Major Business Promotion Plan, which is crucial to making the Busan industry pursue citizens' happiness and Social Design Innovative City. Plans are as follows: ▲Busan Design Convergence Industry Ecosystem, ▲2030 Global Design City, ▲Busan Shared Value Design, Busan Design Knowledge Forum.

◆ Establishing a foundation for cooperation in local industries, schools, and social design to create future values
To add future value to the Busan Design industry', a design convergence policy development and design commercialization-based system will be established through public-private cooperative cooperation and cooperation. DCB plans to form three subcommittees: the Busan Design Convergence Industry Development Council (policy development), the Busan Design Citizens' Participation Group (demand discovery), and the Busan Design Industry-Academic Research Council (work creation) to discuss the direction of Busan design and industry development.

◆ Establishing a business model for Busan design and technology convergence to create a new market
DCB will support the creation of new businesses by converging intelligent technologies and design ideas to strengthen the competitiveness of the Busan industry. To this end, DCB is preparing organized support for small and medium-sized manufacturing innovation companies to increase product competitiveness by improving product and packaging design. DCB is also preparing to create a new market through the convergence of design and technology, such as operating the Design Convergence Sports Start-up Support Center. DCB plans to create synergy as much as possible in connection with related ministries' projects such as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

◆ Civic participation, the 15 minutes of happiness program, the relief service design
DCB, which is carrying out urban regeneration new deal projects in the BusanUlsanGyeongnam area, develops the Busan Public Design Model in connection with public-based life service design policies to help citizens sympathize with urban regeneration new deal projects in Yeonje-gu, Busan Yeonje-gu, Buk-gu, Ulsan.

◆ Preparing for the globalization of Busan design in connection with the 2030 Busan World Expo
Busan Design Week and 2022 Busan International Design Awards will be held this year to globalize the Busan design capabilities. Busan's design capabilities will be introduced to the world by using the event, which has been reborn as an international design event, as an opportunity to develop the Busan design industry in conjunction with the 2030 Busan World Expo.

◆ Reinforcing the development of social venture companies in Busan through the design
Designing products that can create both community and market value will support young people in attracting investment to revitalize social ventures, such as operating regional start-up leap forward design hub centers so that start-ups can grow and settle into social ventures.

◆ Introduction of a sustainable policy for win-win and cooperative design for small business owners in Busan
DCB will discover cooperative models for co-prosperity of small business owners and design companies and support education, product development subsidies, management consulting, and marketing to revitalize the commercial district of the Beomil Clothing Manufacturing Support Center operated by DCB.

◆ Preparing for Service Platform to Globalization of design in Busan]
DCB supports non-face-to-face design development services through online contests using the Asian Design Platform (ADP), which has already been established for global services of Busan's design capabilities. It will also develop a cooperative system with international design organizations and further solidify the global design network by holding the Busan International Design Forum and conference.

DCB strengthens local talent's employment and start-up capabilities by supporting contests, educational programs, and networking programs to foster and discover next-generation Busan designers and design companies.
